About Iowans for Mitt Romney

Page history last edited by Jeff Fuller 3 yrs ago

The Iowans for Romney Blogsite (http://iowansforromney.blogspot.com/) was started by me (Jeff Fuller) in early May, 2006. I had been expectantly following Mitt Romney's political career from a distance when the Romney's landmark Healthcare initiative hit the news and was signed into law. As a physician, I was struck by the novel and constructive ideas proposed by Gov. Romney in this bill and pursued further into his "testing the waters" for a 2008 presidential bid. The more I studied Mitt Romney's career, policies, issue statements, and vision for his state (and potentially our country) I became convinced that he is the candidate I could most wholeheartedly endorse. Due to the central and important nature of Iowa in presidential politics, I felt impressed to start the Iowans for Romney Blogsite to join the "For Mitt Romney" movement trying to convince Gov. Romney to run.

Due to the nature of a Blogsite, only one "page" is available for use and within a few weeks, the information on this page became somewhat "unweildy." With the help of Kevin Davis who runs Texans for Mitt Romney we have started this "Iowans for Mitt Romney" website as a companion site to the original blogsite (which will continue to be the main source of recent news and reports) as a more "user friendly" site for Iowans who want to inform themselves about Mitt Romney. I plan to link to the major blog entries relating to Romney's presence here in Iowa and keep an updated list of his upcoming visits.
